Environment Third Straight Day of Yellow Alert

If you suffer from asthma, you won't be happy to know that the Department of Environmental Quality has issued another yellow (moderate) air quality alert today for Ada and Canyon counties. This is the third day this week and the fourth in two weeks. The Treasure Valley continues to come close to exceeding federal limits for ozone. The number of days out of compliance this summer could determine whether the valley will stay within federal limits.
