Homeless Advocate, Wife Leaving Treasure Valley

Posted By on Fri, Jul 16, 2010 at 1:15 PM

One of the highest profile advocates for the homeless is leaving the Treasure Valley.

Dr. Will Rainford, the chair of Boise State University's Master of Social Work program, has announced that he'll be relocating to Texas.

Rainford has served as a lobbyist for Catholic Charities of Idaho and was an integral force in opening the doors of Interfaith Sanctuary in Boise. Rainford's wife, Rosio Gonzalez, the executive director of Catholic Charities of Idaho, says she'll follow her husband once the diocese has found her replacement.
