Minnick Campaign Accuses Labrador of "Lifting"

Raul Labrador, who cruised to victory in Idaho's First Congressional District Republican primary when his challenger, Vaughn Ward, was entangled in a string of incidents where speeches were mysteriously "lifted" from other sources, has been accused of the same.

John Foster, campaign manager for Democratic incumbent Rep. Walt Minnick, wasted no time in his analysis of a July 22 press release from the Labrador campaign.

Labrador's release says: "... makes it easier for unions, environmental groups and other 'social justice' groups to place their members on the boards of directors of every corporation in the country."

Foster points out that a July 14 story in the Washington Times says:"... makes it easier for unions, environmental groups and other activist organizations that hold shares to put their representatives on the boards of directors of every corporation in the United States."

In his release, Labrador roundly criticizes Minnick for his support of the Financial Regulatory Reform Bill.
