Some cautiously optimistic news came out of Idaho's Division of Financial Management today. In its Idaho Outlook for November, DFM reported that for the fourth month for Fiscal Year 2011, general fund revenues have come in above target.
The most recent October numbers indicate individual income tax revenues topping forecast by more than $5 million. October corporate income and property tax revenues were also up. Sales tax collections were virtually on target, coming in at around $300,000 ahead of forecast.
To date, FY 2011 general fund revenues are about $22 million ahead of projection.
