In the wake of successfully pushing three pieces of controversial public education legislation through the Idaho Legislature, public schools chief Tom Luna is about to take his plan on the road beginning Monday.
Luna will host the first session of what he calls his 2011 Post-Legislative Tour April 25 at Boise's Doubletree Riverside Hotel. He'll provide detailed explanations of Senate Bills 1108, 1110 and 1184.
Luna will be flanked by his deputy superintendents in presentations to Treasure Valley school administrators, all from Kuna School District 3. Later in the week, Luna hits Idaho Falls, Pocatello and Twin Falls. The following week, Luna has sessions scheduled in Coeur d'Alene and Lewiston.
