Monday Will Be Last CCDC Meeting for Kushlan

When the Capital City Development Corporation board convenes Monday afternoon, it will Phil Kushlan's last meeting as CCDC executive director. Following 12 years on the job, Kushlan retires on July 6.

Among the items on Monday's agenda:

-An update on the Ninth, 10th and Main Street Streetscape Project: It's 25 percent complete.
-A new analysis of estimated ridership of a streetcar (approximately 1,400 running 2.6 miles east-west and 1,300 running 3.9 miles north-south).
-A preview of the Fiscal Year 2012 budget process.
-Appointment of Todd Bunderson as interim executive director.

Before packing up his office, Kushlan sat down with BW for a profile in this week's issue.
