Sega Hacked

Posted By on Sun, Jun 19, 2011 at 9:01 AM

Another global gaming company, Sega, has been targeted by cyber hackers. The company sent an email to its Sega Pass users, warning them that email addresses, dates of birth and passwords had been stolen from its database.

The security breach came after Sony and Ninetendo suffered similar hack attacks. Sega said Saturday that its online system had been taken offline while users' passwords are reset.

In the past 60 days cyber attacks were launched against Citigroup, Google, Sony, Lockheed Martin and the International Monetary Fund.
