Agents Raid Bootleg Operation That Sent Illegal DVDs Into Idaho

Utah police say they have busted a ring of bootleggers who were sending illegal CDs and DVDs throughout the region including southern Idaho swapmeets.

Federal agents joined a Utah Attorney General Strike Force to raid two homes that were operating what they called "a huge operation" including bootlegged DVDs of movies that are still playing in theaters. Agents said they believed the houses were distribution centers, sending thousands of bootlegged media to swampmeets in Utah and Idaho. Four suspects were charged with piracy and racketeering.
