Study: Idaho Quite Social on the Web

Posted By on Thu, Jul 21, 2011 at 3:03 PM

The social network is apparently quite strong in Idaho. The Gem State ranks fourth in the nation as "most social state" in a new study by Tagged.com

The web analysis reviewed social habits of more than 2 million Americans, measuring online "flirting," "winking" and "friend requests" in June. North Dakota topped the list, followed by New Jersey, Washington, D.C., Idaho and North Carolina.

Tagged researchers suggested rural areas in North Dakota and Idaho were home to webcrawlers in search of connections with neighbors and "those far beyond."
