Say the words "pilot" and "hero" and two names may quickly come to mind: Lindbergh and Sullenberger. Since Charles Lindbergh wasn't available, The Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce is brining Chelsey "Sully" Sullenberger aboard for its 125th Annual Gala on Tuesday, Oct. 18.
Sullenberger, now retired from U.S. Airways, went into the history books on Jan. 15, 2009 when he successfully ditched a jetliner in New York's Hudson River, saving the lives of all 155 people aboard. Today, he travels the world speaking on airline safety, and is an aviation expert for CBS News.
Individual tickets for the Chamber gala are $100 for members and $150 for nonmembers.
