Private and public interests have scheduled an 11 a.m. press conference at the site of the infamous Boise Hole today. Representatives from Zions Bank and the "hole's" new owner the Gardner Company will hold a press conference along with Boise Mayor Dave Bieter. The hole has been vacant since a 1987 fire demolished the old Eastman Building. The site has been the subject of on-again, off-again lawsuits, negotiations and eventual foreclosure ever since.
Architectural renderings are expected to be unveiled by the Gardner Company, which also developed the Portico in Meridian.
