Greenbelt Detours Set for This Week

Posted By on Mon, Oct 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM

Construction got under way this morning on a 10-day project to rebuild the Greenbelt through Julia Davis Park.

During construction, the path is closed from the Boise Art Museum past the tennis courts. The cul-de-sac on the east end of Julia Davis Park is also closed. The $114,500 project will include rotomilling the existing path and installing a new 2-inch layer of asphalt.

Two other Greenbelt sections will also be improved later this fall; one project will repair tree root damage near Barber Park and the other replaces a section of the pathway in a traffic circle on Parkriver.
