E-Cigarettes: What's In a Name?

Posted by Andrew Crisp on Tue, Oct 25, 2011 at 1:39 PM

This Wednesday, Oct. 26, Boise Weekly catches up with Jim Longden, owner of Vapoligy LLC, a shop that sells electronic cigarettes. The City Council's smoke-free ordinances, as worded, filter out these tobacco-free nicotine vaporizers.

You're probably asking yourself, "Just what the hell is an e-cigarette, anyway?" Check out the video below to get a taste of what's coming Wednesday. Learn all about the liquid in e-cigarettes, and watch a BW reporter fill his lungs with mango flavor.

Good for Longden! If signatures are needed - hit me up. This is why I was 'on the fence' with a no-smoking ban. Traditional cigarettes - yes. Keep them away from me. E-cigs? I think they should be allowed for sure.

Thank You for your support Vie_en_Ras!!
I may take you up on your offer if it comes down to signatures. We live in the 21st century and Vaping is the future of smoking!

Being very sensitive to cigarette smoke, I much prefer my husband to vape than to smoke. Not only does it not smell up the house, but it also gives us more time together as he isn't always running outside to smoke. Great Job, Jim. I hope more people will see this and understand the benefits to e-cigs.
