Ron Paul in Boise Today, Attracted Capacity Crowd at U of I on Friday

Posted By on Sat, Feb 18, 2012 at 9:24 AM

GOP presidential hopeful Ron Paul will be the third candidate in five days to visit Boise when he brings his campaign to CenturyLink Arena at noon today. The Texas Congressman's visit comes in the wake of Tuesday's appearance by former Pennsylvania Congressman Rick Santorum and Friday's visit from former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.

Today's appearance from Paul follows a Thursday town hall meeting in Twin Falls, which attracted 1,300 and yesterday's campaign stop in Moscow that saw more than 1,200 attendees. According to campaign officials, the Friday rally at the University of Idaho's Student Union Ballroom was prepared for 1,000 guests but an additional 1,000 tried to get in.
