Larry Rincover to Run Again For Ada County Commissoner

Posted By on Wed, Feb 22, 2012 at 11:36 AM

Larry Rincover, who ran an unsuccessful 2010 campaign to become an Ada County commissioner, is going to give it another try. Defeated by Commissioner Rick Yzaguirre, Rincover will face Jim Tibbs, who announced his candidacy on Monday.

Rincover and Tibbs will be running for the open seat, left vacant by recent redistricting that slides Commissioner Sharon Ullman over into the district currently represented by Commissioner Vern Bisterfeldt. Ullman has already announced her intention to run again, but Bisterfeldt, who has been absent from commission meetings for the past three weeks, has not announced his intentions.

Rincover, a real-estate consultant and eminent-domain specialist, has worked on several high-profile Ada County projects, including the West Park Center and East Park Center bridges, Federal Way and the Garden City Greenbelt.
