Twin Falls Republican Rep. Sharon Block is yet another Idaho legislator who will be saying goodbye to the Statehouse after this session.
Block, who has served six terms in the Idaho House, representing District 24, is the chair of the House Commerce and Human Resources Committee. Additionally, she serves on the House Education and Environment, Energy and Technology committees.
Block was an elementary school teacher for 15 years in the Magic Valley. She was appointed by then-Gov. Dirk Kempthorne to the House in 2002 to succeed Rep. George Swan.
