Boise Businesses Stung in Underage Alcohol Investigation

More than a third of Boise businesses targeted in an underage alcohol sting failed the test last weekend, resulting in 18 citations at five locations.

Four teens worked undercover with Boise police to check compliance at 14 businesses. According to police, five locations sold alcohol to minors. Additionally, citations were handed out for underage drinking, drug paraphernalia, violation of the open container law, and six tobacco violations.

According to law enforcement, the businesses that provided alcohol to minors were:

Woody’s Bar and Grill on Vista Avenue
Jackson’s at Fairview and Liberty
Jackson’s at Fairview and Mitchell
Emerald Lanes at Emerald and Orchard
Chevron at Curtis and Franklin
