'Horrorcore' Broken Up By Boise County Lawmen

A Garden City man, the organizer of the so-called "Underground and Horrorcore" event at a Boise County campsite, is being held at the Ada County Jail for a probation violation following his weekend gathering, which law enforcement said included vandalism and violence.

Boise County Sheriff's deputies are still investigating the event, which they said did not have appropriate permits to be held at the Cottonwood Campground near Idaho Highway 21. Sheriff's deputies ticketed 28-year-old Erik Bowman for holding the event without a permit. Concurrently, Bowman was arrested for a probation violation from a 2009 vandalism charge in Lemhi County. Bowman is being held on a $5,000 bond at the Ada County Jail.

Bowman's website, creeperproductions.webs.com, promoted the horrorcore event as "Wicked in da Woods 2012," promising "we got more for the creepers, killas, and juggalos to get wicked with."

"Get ready to get fucked up and kick it with the family," said the website. "We will have numerous events and shows so get your rest somewhere else."
