Star-News: McCall Close to Choosing New City Manager

Posted By on Fri, Oct 26, 2012 at 9:23 AM

Following months of a mostly private process of McCall city manager candidates being quizzed behind closed doors, the public will finally get a chance to meet two men and one woman who want to oversee the city.

This morning's McCall Star-News reports that Interim City Manager Gene Drabinski, Valley County Chief Deputy Prosecutor Carol Brockmann and URS Corporation Vice President Dautis Pearson will have a meet-and-greet with the public this evening at the McCall Golf Course clubhouse.

Following more closed-door interviews, the McCall City Council has scheduled a noontime meeting Saturday, when a decision could be revealed on who will be the next city manager, according to the Star-News.

The three candidates want to replace former City Manager Lindley Kirkpatrick, who resigned in May and moved his family to Scotland in August.
