Boise Police had a very busy weekend, resulting in multiple felony arrests including:
Tyler Fust, 23, of Boise, whom police said was driving the wrong way on the I-184 connector near River Street early Sunday morning. Late Saturday night, Boise Police stopped a vehicle near Broadway Avenue and West Beacon Street. A K-9 named Diesel alerted officers of the likely presence of drugs. A search netted alcohol, digital scales and a baggie of Oxycodone. Law enforcement charged a passenger in the car, 19-year-old David Wesley of Boise, with drug possession and underage drinking.
Friday night, Boise Police charged 22-year-old Brian Plant of Boise with burglary and grand theft after allegedly trying to steal drugs from a pharmacy on the 100 block of East Bannock. Officers said they recovered more than 100 prescription pills of Dronabinol and Marinol.
Sunday afternoon, Boise Police responded to a report of a fight in East Boise, but as they arrived, they spotted a suspect taking off in a pickup truck. Police gave chase, topping speeds of 70 mph. Police ultimately used a taser to subdue the suspect and recovered a handgun from the suspect's vehicle. Bryce Tremblay, 38, is charged with eluding, assault, malicious injury to property and destruction of a telecommunication device for allegedly breaking a phone being used by a victim to contact police.
