Toronto is known as one of the friendliest cities on the planet. It's also known for its world-class restaurants. But a recent October evening at a Vietnamese eatery turned rather ugly, as the video below proves. As of Nov. 3, the video had more than 500,000 views on YouTube.
The shenanigans happened inside Pho Xe Lua on Oct. 27. Eyewitnesses said a dispute erupted over seating arrangements.
A woman hit in the face by a flying dinner plate needed several stitches to repair a gash on her nose. And one man is facing assault charges, while Toronto police comb through the video in an attempt to identify other suspects. But law enforcement has a double challenge: A number of the restaurant patrons were wearing Halloween costumes.
