Woman Charged With Arsons at Boise Group Home

Nancy Sias, 53, is charged with arson.

Boise Police were called in to investigate after a small fire broke out late on Nov. 12 at a group treatment home in the area of Apple Street and Boise Avenue.

Law enforcement determined that there had also been a previous small fire at the group home.

Ultimately, 53-year-old Nancy Sias was booked on two felony counts of first-degree arson.

Ruben Haro-Cota, 34, is charged with possession of fraudulent credit cards.

Mario Ruiz-Nunez, 24, is charged with possession of fraudulent credit cards.

Also Nov. 12, Boise Police were called to a retail store on Milwaukee Street near Franklin Road after clerks said two men had made $1,700 in purchases using "suspicious credit cards." But while police were investigating the matter, the men slipped away and drove off.

Boise Police stopped the suspects' vehicle a short time later at Curtis Road near Gage Street. Police seized what they thought were counterfeit credit cards and hauled the duo to the Ada County lockup.

Ruben Haro-Cota, 34, and Mario Ruiz-Nunez, 24, both Mexican citizens, were charged with possession of fraudulent credit cards.
