Boise State Unifies, Simplifies Brand With 'B'

What's in a brand? Money. Lots and lots of money.

In collaboration with Nike, Boise State announced today that it was "unifying its branding efforts" with the introduction of what it calls its primary "B" logo.

"The redesigned B serves all of us in the Bronco family and represents our personality traits of being determined, strong, innovative and community based," said Boise State President Bob Kustra in today's announcement.

The B brand will replace Boise State's diamond logo, which the university has used since 2001.

Boise State also made certain to warn of potential knock-offs in this morning's announcement, saying that the logos may be used solely with permission of Boise State and items offered for sale must be licensed through the university.
