Canyon County prosecutors have issued an arrest warrant for the driver of a vehicle that law enforcement said was traveling at more than 100 mph before it flipped, killing a Nampa teenager.
This morning's Idaho Press-Tribune reports that the $1 million arrest warrant was issued for 21-year-old Freddy Quezada of Caldwell, who is wanted on a charge of vehicular manslaughter. Police said Quezada had eight passengers in his vehicle in the early morning hours of Dec. 15, when the car rolled several times on Orchard Avenue in Nampa. Stephanie Rodriguez, 15, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police indicated that Quezada had failed to stop at a stop sign, and that alcohol was involved in the crash.
