  • Robert Muse has officially announced his candidacy for Nampa mayor.

Saying his campaign platform was built on a "constitutional oath to protect private property rights and to defend civil liberty," Robert Muse has kicked off 2013 by announcing his intention to run for mayor of Nampa.

This morning's Idaho Press-Tribune reports that Muse, who unsuccessfully ran for Canyon County sheriff in 2012, is a local business owner, an Air Force veteran and a licensed bail and fugitive recovery agent. He holds two master's degrees from Capella University in criminal justice and public safety leadership. He also holds a bachelor's degree from Colorado Technical University.
