Boise Police say they locked up a woman after she tried to stiff a taxi driver and later bit a police officer's leg.
Law enforcement was patrolling downtown Boise late Saturday night, when a cab driver pulled up next to the officers and told them that a woman in his back seat was refusing to pay her fare of $47.90. Police said the woman appeared to be intoxicated and tried to run away from the officers. When police tried to stop her, they said she bit one of the officer's leg.
Carmen Brashers, 22, of Pine was charged with a felony count of battery on a police officer, resisting and obstructing, and public intoxication.
Police said they were also called to a fight at a home near West Rose Hill and South Roosevelt streets Friday night. That's where they said they saw a victim being chased by a Boise man carrying a pair of needle nose pliers.
Jeffrey Collins, 43, was charged with a felony count of aggravated assault.
