An overnight stabbing incident at a Boise dog park has landed a Boise man behind bars, charged with a felony.
Boise Police said they received a report of a battery at a park on Roosevelt near Latah Street Tuesday night. The victim, who reported the incident from a local hospital, told police that he went to the park to meet the suspect, who was known to him.
According to the suspect, the two men argued over a personal dispute and at one point, the suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim, who suffered non-life threatening injuries.
A short time later, police charged 45-year-old William Roberts with aggravated battery.
Also Tuesday, Boise Police said they acted on an outstanding warrant stemming from an investigation into an incident that took place at a West Boise home in January 2012. Police said evidence indicates the suspect was involved in sexual acts with with a minor.
Amanda Sheets, 27, of Emmett was charged with a felony count of sexual battery of a minor child 16 or 17 years of age.
