Boise Police were called out early this morning to a disturbance at a residence on the 2100 block of S. Eagleson Road. That's where a woman told law enforcement that a man, who was known to her, threatened to kill her while holding a knife. Officers said they believed alcohol may have been a factor in the case.
Police later found the suspect not far from the home.
26-year-old James Lucero of Boise was charged with a felony count of aggravated assault.
Another charge of felony assault was lodged overnight in a case of alleged road rage. Two victims told police that a man, who had an ongoing dispute with the driver, began following the pair in another vehicle.
At one point, the victims said they pulled in to a parking lot near Fairview Ave. and Five Mile Road to avoid the suspect, but the witnesses said the suspect rammed his car into the rear end of their vehicle. The victims said the suspect then began punching their vehicle with his fist.
Police found the suspect a short time later at a traffic stop near Irvine and Mitchell streets.
19-year-old Adam Richey of Boise was charged with a felony count of assault.
Police were also called out Wednesday evening to a report of a problem patient at the Northview Medical Clinic on W. Northview St. Police said the suspect shoved one officer and punched another officer in the face.
48-year-old Timothy Harker of Boise was charged with a felony count of battery on an officer.
