The story in the sports section of this morning's Los Angeles Times pretty much sums it up: "The Titus Young story isn't funny anymore."
The former Boise State and Detroit Lions star wide receiver was arrested May 10, his third arrest in one week.
A spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff's Department says the 23-year-old Young was arrested in San Clemente, Calif., after allegedly breaking into a home. Young has also been charged with assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest following a foot chase. As of this morning, Young was being held on $75,000 bail.
Young was previously arrested May 5 on suspicion of driving under the influence. After being released from custody, hours later Young was arrested again, for burglary, after police said he tried to break into an impound yard where his car had been towed.
"News of Young's third arrest in six days is no laughing matter," wrote the Times' Chuck Schilken.
