Woman Accused of Stealing Money Orders From Drop Box

Michelle Turner, 30, is charged with grand theft, forgery and probation violation.

A Boise woman is behind bars, charged with a felony, after Boise Police said she stole money orders from a drop box.

Law enforcement were alerted to a reported theft from a business on the 1400 block of W. Washington Street. That's where victims told police someone had stolen money orders from the company's drop box. Police said evidence indicated that the suspect was involved in passing the money orders at local merchants.

30-year-old Michelle Turner of Boise is charged with felony counts of grand theft and forgery and violating probation.
