As Boise firefighters battled a blaze May 25 at an apartment complex on S. Amy Avenue, they alerted Boise Police to the presence of what appeared to be large amounts of marijuana growing inside the apartment.

After obtaining a search warrant, police arrived on the scene to discover several containers, weighing approximately 3/4 pound, of marijuana. Officers also found psilocybin mushrooms and drug paraphernalia. Ultimately, three occupants were arrested.

21-year-old John Geisler and 21-year-old Elizabeth Rayner were each charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of psilocybin mushrooms.

A third roommate was charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of drug parphernalia.
