Gary Brenner, 38, is charged with assault, battery, DUI, resisting arrest and intimidating a states witness.

Garden City Police say what began as an overnight incident of road rage ended with a man behind bars facing a laundry list of charges.

Garden City Police responded to a report of road rage that began on Chinden Boulevard and ended in the parking lot of a Jackson's store. Three separate victims told police that they were assaulted by the suspect in the parking lot before he fled.

Law enforcement later found the suspect's car at 38th and Adams streets but, again, the suspect had fled.

Hours later, police responded to a call of a disturbance on the 200 block of 37th street where they found the suspect. When the suspect tried to take off yet again, police said they used a Taser to subdue the suspect.

Ultimately, 38-year-old Gary Brenner of Garden City was booked into the Ada County Jail on charges of assault, driving under the influence, violating the open container law, disturbing the peace, resisting arrest and two counts of battery. He was also charged with a felony count of intimidating a state's witness.
