Two Men Jailed For Stealing Boise Taxi Cab

Two men are behind bars after Boise Police said they stole a taxi cab June 9.

The taxi's driver told law enforcement that he left his cab running at 3 a.m., June 9, as he entered a business to retrieve a fare. Witnesses said the two suspects, who appeared to be very intoxicated, got into the cab and drove off.

Police located the tax near I-84 and Overland Road a short time later.

A check of Boise City Records indicated that one of the suspects was driving on a suspended licesne.

21-year-old James Teget of Boise and 21-year-old Jeremy Loughran of Meridian were both charged with felony counts of grand theft. Teget was also charged with DUI and driving without privileges.
