Boise Motel Disturbance Ends in Arrest of Alleged Pimp

Marcus Griffin, 25, is charged with procurement of prostitution and receiving the funds of a prostitute.

An overnight disturbance at a Boise motel has landed a California man behind bars, facing charges of alleged pimping.

Boise Police said they responded to a report of a disturbance at a motel on the 1000 block of North Curtis Road Thursday night. Law enforcement said a suspect had reportedly been involved in a dispute with a female at the motel. Officers said they obtained evidence that indicated the suspect had been involved in arranging the activities of two prostitutes at the motel.

Marcus Griffin, 25, of San Diego, Calif., was booked into the Ada County Jail, where he faces felony counts of procurement of prostitution and receiving the funds of a prostitute.
