A couple of overnight Boise traffic stops resulted in two felony arrests.
Boise Police said they witnessed a vehicle fail to use a turn signal at Leadville Avenue and Highland Street. During the stop, they detected the odor of alcohol. A series of field sobriety tests resulted in the driver of the vehicle blowing a blood alcohol content level of .145. The suspect was also driving with three minors under the age of 18.
23-year-old Matthew Meteyer of Boise was charged with driving under the influence and three counts of injury of a child.
In a separate incident, Boise Police said they witnessed the driver of a vehicle fail to use a proper turn signal at the intersection of 32nd and Bella Streets early this morning. During a traffic stop, an officer saw in plain view an open container of alcohol. The beverage belonged to a passenger in the car who was wanted on two outstanding warrants.
22-year-old Astraiah Armstrong of Boise was booked into the Ada County Jail on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon and failure to appear on a drug court warrant.
