Police Blotter: Dine and Dash, Aggravated Assault and DUI

Stanley Ritchie, 59, is charged with aggravated assault.

Boise Police said they were called to the scene of a property dispute in a neighborhood near West Ustick and North Maple Grove roads July 8. That's where a man told police that another man pulled a knife during an argument.

58-year-old Stanley Ritchie of Boise was charged with a felony count of aggravated assault.

Steven Allen, 50, is charged with DUI and driving without privileges.

Also July 8, Boise Police said they witnessed a vehicle make a wide right turn onto State Street from 31st Street, but the driver failed to maintain his lane. When officers stopped the vehicle, the driver failed several field sobriety tests. A check of City of Boise records indicated that the the driver had already been convicted of felony DUI in November 2005.

50-year-old Steven Allen of Boise was charged with a felony DUI and a misdemeanor of driving without privileges.

Dee Daley, 56, is charged with felony burglary.


Boise Police said they were also called to a restaurant on Capital Boulevard near Grove Street late last night. That's where employees said a man had just left without paying for his meal. Police determined that the man had entered the restaurant with the intent of leaving without paying, making the charge a felony.

46-year-old Dee Daley of Henderson, Nevada, was booked into the Ada County Jail on a felony burglary charge.

UPDATE: According to court records, the felony burglary charge was dismissed and Daley was found guilty of theft-petit, a misdemeanor.
