A woman is suing a North Idaho hair salon after she said a dye-job went horribly wrong, leading her to seek medical treatment.
This morning's Coeur d'Alene Press reports that Wanetta Petersen is suing the Bling Salon in Hayden and an employee of the salon in connection with the July 21 incident.
Petersen claims that while she was having her hair colored, chemicals streamed into her eye. When she tried to wash her eye out, Petersen said a burning sensation didn't subside. Petersen said that's when the salon employee placed some eye drops into Peterson's eye, but "the burning sensation became unbearable and required [Peterson] to seek medical treatment."
Peterson claims she has since been diagnosed with photophobia and dry eye syndrome, and requires medical treatment.
The Press reports that Peterson is seeking damages in an amount to be determined at trial.
