Police Blotter: Lewd Conduct With Minors and Two Felony Burglaries

Matthew Angell, 25, is charged with five counts of lewd conduct with a minor

A Boise man is behind bars, charged with five felony counts of lewd conduct with a minor.

Boise Police said the incidents involved three juveniles under the age of 16 who told detectives the conduct took place on more than one occasion. The suspect is known to the victims, who are male and female. The alleged inappropriate conduct took place at multiple private homes in Boise over the past year.

25-year-old Matthew Angell of Boise was charged with five counts of lewd conduct with a minor under 16.

Police are asking anyone with information about the case to contact Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.

Matthew Jackson, 24, is charged with felony burglary.

Boise Police also report that they responded to a report of a burglary in progress overnight at a residence near West Overland Road and South Vista Avenue.

That's where witnesses told police they saw the suspect attempting to pry open a back window of the home. The suspect was also observed allegedly entering a garage of a house next door.

24-year-old Matthew Jackson of Boise was booked into the Ada County Jail on a felony count of burglary.

Tyler Thomas, 39, is charged with felony burglary.

Additionally, Boise Police said they responded to a vehicle burglary on West Emerald and North Orchard streets overnight. A witness said she observed the suspect break into her van but when she confronted the suspect, he attempted to leave on a bicycle, but not before he was detained and arrested.

39-year-old Tyler Thomas of Boise was charged with felony burglary.
