Ryan Tannenholz, 28, is charged with a felony count of crimes against nature.

A Boise man is behind bars, charged with a felony of Crimes Against Nature for having sex with an animal.

Boise Police said they arrested the suspect Aug. 1 at his home after evidence indicated the man had engaged in illegal sexual activity involving a small animal on more than one occasion. The investigation led to a felony warrant.

28-year-old Ryan Tannenholz of Boise was booked into the Ada County Jail on the felony charge of Title 18, Chapter 66 of the Idaho code, which states "any sexual penetration, however slight, is sufficient to complete the crime against nature."

Kevin McCullough, 22, is charged with five counts of possession of sexually exploitive material.

Boise Police, working with the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, also arrested a Boise man at a home on the 4400 block of West Brennen Street. That's where police said evidence tied sexually exploitive materials to the suspect. Officers said they located multiple illegal files on computers at the home.
