A Boise man continues to fight for his life at a local hospital, suffering from injuries sustained when a large pallet of mirrors fell on him Sept. 25 in an East Boise warehouse.

Police, firefighters and EMS all responded to the U.S. Mirror and Glass warehouse off of West McGregor Drive and Geckler Lane. That's where workers said the man was trapped under a pallet of mirrors weighing approximately 5,000 pounds. When the man was rescued, emergency responders said he was unconscious and not breathing. The unidentified victim was described as a man in his 50s and an employee of the business.

Boise Police are continuing to investigate the incident and the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration is also expected to join officers in the investigation.
