Charitable Assistance To Community's Homeless or CATCH, Inc., opens a new office today, deepening its services in Canyon County. The nonprofit, which uses funds from grants and donors, provides up to six months rent for homeless families and already serves populations in Ada, Canyon and Twin Falls counties.
The new office, located at 306 Second Ave. in Nampa, opens its doors today at 3:30 p.m. Nampa mayor Tom Dale will deliver an address at 4 p.m.
CATCH boasts a success rate—defined as families securing stable income and paying their own rent within six months—of 85-90 percent. According to founder and executive director Greg Morris, CATCH will be able to serve up to 90 families in need in 2014.
In an upcoming issue of Boise Weekly, readers will learn about CATCH, Inc., and other services that help individuals and families out of homelessness.
