Boiseans woke up this morning to some troubling news: yet another cyclist was hit by a vehicle early today.
The good news is that the cyclist suffered only minor injuries and did not require hospitalization, according to Ada County Dispatch.
Boise Police said the cyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was heading east on Jefferson Street as a SUV was travelling westbound, also on Jefferson. The crash occurred just after 7 a.m. as the car was making a left turn onto 29th Street.
The cyclist, who said, his headlamp was not working, was cited for failing to have a light, while the driver of the SUV was cited for failing to yield to oncoming traffic.
