The mug shot is pretty ugly. The details are even worse.

An Eagle man is behind bars charged with vehicular manslaughter following an early morning accident which killed a 21-year-old woman.

Idaho State Police said the crash occurred near the intersection of State and Glenwood streets just before 3 a.m. Police said 25-year-old Andrew Cassell was driving a 2004 Kia Optima when his vehicle crashed into a power pole, killing his 21-year-old passenger, Aldina Ekic. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

State Police said alcohol was a contributing factor and that the victim was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.

State Street was closed to all traffic for a few hours before sunrise and the investigation is continuing.

50-year-old Bradley Kenyon is charged with felony aggravated DUI.
