  • Laraine Cook (left) lost her job as a Pocatello High School coach in October after posting this photo, taken with fiance and fellow coach Tom Harrison (right) during a family reunion in Oregon, to Facebook.

Saying she was "frustrated" for being thrown under the bus by her school district, a Pocatello girl's basketball coach who was fired after a picture of her boyfriend touching her chest surfaced, said she's prepared to formally challenge her dismissal.

In October, we first told you about Laraine Cook being fired from her job as a Pocatello High School basektball coach, while her fiance, the Pocatello High School football coach coach, got off with a slap on the wrist.

And now Cook tells the Idaho State Journal that she has hired a lawyer and is formally appealing through the school district's bargaining grievance process.

"I can't say that I think it's fair ... because of that picture that I never thought was immoral, for me to lose my job and possibly my entire career that I worked for," Cook told the Journal.

And the district's response?

"We are not saying another thing," said a district spokeswoman.
