It's a big sports day for Boise State University football and basketball fans.
Today is the so-called "signing day," when high-school recruits will fax in their commitments to join the Boise State Broncos football squad from all across the country. This will be the first class of recruits for Boise State's new head football coach Bryan Harsin. High-profile recruits include Texas safety Dylan Sumner-Gardner, Coeur d'Alene tight end Chase Blakely and Florida quarterback Alex Ogle.
Meanwhile, the biggest regular season basketball game of the year is set for tonight at Taco Bell Arena, as the Boise State men's basketball team plays host to the No. 5 team in the nation, the Aztecs of San Diego State.
The Broncos have a 15-7 overall record and a 5-4 Mountain West Conference record, while the Aztecs have a 19-1 overall record and an 8-0 conference record. The Aztecs have won 18 straight games (their last loss was in November).
This is only the third time a top-five team has visited Taco Bell Arena.
Tonight's game will be televised by the CBS Sports Network.
