UPDATE: Power Restored to Boise Traffic Signals

Officials with the Ada County High District have received word from Idaho Power crews that they have cleared the problem that cut power to traffic signals at numerous West Boise intersections. The signals are again operating in time for the Thursday afternoon rush hour.

Crews from Idaho Power, the Ada County Highway District and local law enforcement have their hands full Thursday afternoon as a series of power outages knocked out several traffic signals in Boise.

ACHD officials said motorists should avoid the following intersections:


-West Derby Street and West Jewell Street to Emerald Street and Bethel Court

-Milwaukee Street to Kimball Street

-Emerald Street to I-84

-Maple Grove Road to Five Mile Road (includes Mitchell)

-Milwaukee Street to Five Mile Road

-Fairview Avenue to Franklin Road
