A victim of sex slavery testified in Twin Falls County Court Friday that she had been repeatedly raped, physically assaulted and imprisoned in the house of her captor, the Twin Falls Times-News reports
The woman said Oscar Ayala-Arizmendi, 36, forced her to have sex with him and drugged her with meth for 18 months. At night she was locked in a bedroom with Ayala-Arizmendi. Investigators found chains and locks mounted to walls and on the floors of several rooms in the suspect's home, as well as a cage made from wood and heavy metal mesh. The bedroom door had been reinforced, police said.
Ayala-Arizmendi has been charged with first-degree kidnapping, rape and possession of a controlled substance. He is being held on a $1 million bond.
Magistrate Judge Thomas Kershaw told prosecutors have enough evidence to send the case to District Court.
