A Boise woman was sent to the Ada County Jail on a felony count of DUI, her second in five years, and this time she had a child in the car.

Boise Police were called June 21 to the scene of a two-vehicle crash at West State and 36th streets. That's where they found the driver of one of the cars allegedly giving off the strong odor of alcohol. Additionally, police said the driver's eyes were bloodshot and watery, and she failed several field sobriety tests. Police said her license had been suspended and the child in the car was placed in safe custody.

And police say they were also summoned to the area near the Edwards movie complex on Entertainment Drive at Overland Road June 21, after a number of motorists honked their horns at a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road. When police stopped the vehicle, they reportedly spotted an open can of beer inside. Additionally, the driver failed field sobriety tests. Police also found that the driver's license had been suspended and he had two previous DUIs within the past 10 years, one in Oregon and one in Idaho.
