Seven people are hospitalized—some in Idaho, others in Wyoming—following the crash of a tour bus in Grand Teton National Park.

The bus was traveling on North Highway 89, just north of Colter Bay, Wyo., when a front tire left the road, according to officials. When the driver over-corrected, the bus slipped on its side and slid down the highway. According to its itinerary, the bus was headed for West Yellowstone.

The crash, which occurred in the late afternoon hours of July 10, closed down the highway for nearly five hours. North Highway 89 is the only highway connecting Grand Teton and Yellowstone.

According to a park spokeswoman, the bus was carrying an Asian tour group. Each of the 26 passengers and driver were evaluated at nearby St. John's Medical Center in Jackson, Wyo., and two patients have been flown to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
