Nampa Police Hunting for Two Suspects in Morning Home Invasion

Posted By on Tue, Aug 26, 2014 at 12:30 PM

Nampa Police are investigating a home invasion incident that occurred in the 2200 block of Lexi's Lane just before 9 Tuesday morning.

An elderly woman activated a home security system after two men, reported to be armed, broke into the home. The would-be assailants were apparently scared by the alarm and fled in a pickup truck. Police said the men were armed with a firearm and knife. The victim of the break-in was not injured, and the suspects were not able to take any cash or goods from the home.

Nampa Police are asking the public's health in identifying the pair, both thin, white men in their 20s. One was wearing a red shirt and denim shorts and the other was wearing a blue shirt and khaki shorts. The two made off in a light-colored pickup and were last seen near Greenhurst Road and Southside Boulevard in Nampa.

Anyone with information is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
